About East C.A.N.

If anyone can…East C.A.N.!  We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization encouraging positive and timely differences in East Nashville by facilitating neighbors helping neighbors.

While we don’t have a physical facility, we DO have a wonderful network of caring foster families and volunteers.  Our foster families (including furry siblings) are our greatest tool since they have the capacity to nourish, love and train homeless and abandoned dogs into wonderful companions.

As part of our mission, we seek to educate the public on issues of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership while also helping to reunite lost pets with their families.  We do this in a variety of ways:

♥ Our weekly e-mail newsletter
Facebook – over 4500 followers!
♥ The East Nashville listserv
♥ Special East C.A.N. events
